On Oct, 3 and 4, 2015, the “Integration for Dreams” National Day Charity Gala was held in Hong Kong Coliseum successfully with people from all walks of life gathered together to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. This gala was supported by HK SAR government, hosted by Hong Kong Celebrations Association, co-hosted by Hong Kong Youth Association, Hong Kong Federation of Professions and Wuyi Association of Hong Kong, and sponsored by L.R. Besides the celebration of the 66th anniversary of the establishment of PRC, the hosting committee also invited over 50 artists from Sichuan Disabled Art Troupe to perform with local disabled people and professionals to highlight the Integration theme of this gala, performing organizations included Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power, Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Orchestra and Hope Through Music Choir.
Boundless love lifts up flying dreams. The performance in this gala represents the gratitude towards all walks for life in Hong Kong for their assistance during the “May 21 Wenchuan Earthquake”, which demonstrates the resilience and power of life and delivers positive energy to the young people, professionals and the society of Hong Kong, contributing to the rehabilitation course and culture integration of Hong Kong and Mainland China at the same time. It also advocates participation, attention and support to the disabled groups and form social conventions that respect and help the disabled.
