Hong Kong, March 24, 2015 – L.R. Capital, a leading global investment and alternative asset manager, today announced it decided to priorities the investment focuses into the Greater China.
On March 23, L.R. Capital has just announced its cornerstone investment commitment in GF Securities H-Share IPO with US$ 250 million. GF Securities starts roadshow for its initial public offering in Hong Kong to raise up to US$3.6 billion, the largest listing in Asia so far this year.
With the attractive discount and valuation, the deal has generated strong interest from institutional investors. Among the cornerstone investors, Taiwan-based Fubon Financial has bought US$300 million, while L.R. Capital, the second largest cornerstone investor, has taken US$250 million of the shares.
According to news sources, this cornerstone investment in GF Securities indicates that L.R. Capital Group has decided to strengthen the scale of its investment in the Greater China and will be working harder to provide its current investment team with strategic coordination and development opportunities in China.
