On 29 September 2015, L.R. Capital Group (“L.R. Capital”), a global multi-family office with a network across Asia and North America, announced the strategic investment into AMTD Group (“AMTD”) (the “Transaction”) and the formation of a strategic alliance between AMTD and China Minsheng International (“CM International”).
 
Founded in 2003, AMTD is an expert in financial planning and asset management, and operates robust business networks domestically and abroad. After the completion of the Transaction, L.R. Capital will become the controlling shareholder of AMTD and will join force with other shareholders including Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia and CK Hutchison Group to build AMTD into a leading asset management platform in Asia.
